Robert is the son of John and Connie Sauceda. He is the husband to a wonderful wife and teacher, Amanda. Robert’s background is in elections. Robert has spent the past four years traveling the nation giving assistance and guidance to election authorities. His goal is to improve existing processes and help train the Election Judges who serve on the front line of elections. He has worked with counties from California to New York and has a vast network of county officials he can call upon. While we need innovation, we do not need to reinvent the wheel. Counties all around the country are struggling with similar issues and many of them are coming up with new best practices that are working even in these tough times.

Robert is a proud resident of South Elgin and loves how the community interacts as a whole. “It is a great place to call home,” Robert adds. He is a graduate of Western Illinois University and has a B.A. in History and Political Science. He attends Christ Community Church and is a precinct committeeman for Elgin Township.
